About the Creator
Mom and pro-catastrophizer Jennifer Heller set out to prepare her family for disasters after they started affecting her directly: In 2017, her husband’s uncle lost his home in California’s Tubb’s fire. They barely escaped with their dogs. Four years later, her in-laws lost their home in the Dixie wildfire.
Preparing her family was a lot harder than she thought it would be. The problem? DIY disaster prep is incredibly boring and confusing. The solution? A system that makes it easy and more enjoyable!
Along with a team of comedians, researchers, and illustrators, Heller used her branding expertise to break the preparedness process into easy-to-follow steps paired with corny jokes and illustrations.
